Third Day - add-on
With tornado warnings locally, Laura must have thought it best to walk a little further in her evening stroll. She made it from her room to the end of her hallway which is a pretty big deal. Two photos attached from her father. Everyone is so proud of her. She is uncomfortable and is not being allowed much movement. Small advances are really BIG advances. We hope that all of you caught in this bad weather pattern are safe and sound.

Laura has really appreciated all the flowers, animals and gifts. They make her feel so much better. She knows of all the prayers and good thoughts for her and really appreciates those, as well. Good night, everyone!

Laura,
ReplyDeleteYour sweet smiles all through the difficulties of yesterday tell me so much about your character and who you really are. You are one special girl!

Laura,
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see pictures of you up and walking around! I know that some of the time you are feeling really yucky but you are doing a fabulous job of working through that and we are all really proud of you. Keep up the good work and I will see you at home SOON!
Love,
Tracy
Laura, you are an amazing young lady. Walking more every day and doing it with a smile on your face! You set a wonderful example for all of us to follow when it comes to facing hard times with courage.

We had lots and lots of RAIN here, but no tornados. Whenever I think of tornados, I think of The WIzard of Oz. How many times have you seen that movie? Maybe you can get a pair of red shoes when you are ready to come home to Knoxville, and then just tap your heels together and you'll be home!
ReplyDeleteWe miss you! Every step you take is getting you stronger, physically and mentally. You've always been a very wonderful person, and now you'll be even greater!!
I can see from the photo that you're as tall as your momma now. Not a fun way to get taller, but we do what we must.
I'll write again soon. Get some good exercise and good rest, missy!

I'm glad to see you are doing better. I know it will be hard to get back to a normal routine but knowing your family's stubbornness you'll be back to five star material in no time.
ReplyDeleteyou and your sister are in my family's thought and prayers.
