We have arrived.
So we beat the weather and have arrived at Shriners. They have fabulous family rooms so we don't have to fight the ice in the morning. A fantastic hotel room in the hospital. I am snuggling up in my new fuzzy socks, my teddy bear you all signed, and blanket given to me today from my fantastic class. If anyone is thinking I am lucky to miss school...guess who has to wake up early on a snow day? I have to wake up early to be downstairs at 7 am. Just like any other school day. :-) At least I don't have to put on a uniform or go outside. We will update tomorrow after my pre-surgery tests. No spelling tests though!

Sorry you have all been so sick! It is nice to know you are thinking of me.
DeleteHi, Lala! It's Ansley! We miss you! Can't wait to see you this weekend. You look great in your blanket and fuzzy socks. Thought I'd sing you a song: "I can go as fast as the thing at the drive thru that you put the money in!"
ReplyDeleteCall me later. I'm thinking of you!
Love,
Ansley!!!
Love that song. :-)
DeleteHi, Laura!
ReplyDeletePretty neat you could just walk in your fuzzy slippers to your appointment!
Stay warm and comfy. It's icy and cold here!
We love the blog. Keep the posts coming!

Glad you all made it safely and got settled in. It sounds like Shriner's has a wonderful set up just like St. Jude does. The Hansons are all keeping you in our prayers for everything to go perfectly and for you to feel God's love every minute of every day!!! Maybe your mom or dad can post your address while you are there so people can send you cards! Love, Andrea Hanson and family (including little Cooper dog)
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! I hope all goes well tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you.
